Unauthorized access and account misuse cause real disruption, and default security settings often fall short. Login security gives operators customizable control over the login process.
How login security works
- Customizable settings. Open the login-settings configuration and adjust the defaults to fit your operation.
- Whitelisted IPs. Keep your company, customer-service, and partner IPs always accessible, regardless of failed login attempts elsewhere.
- Attempt limits and time spans. Set how many failed logins are allowed, and over what window, before an IP is blocked, cutting off brute-force attacks.
- Captcha thresholds. Choose how many failed attempts trigger a captcha, or set it to zero to require one every time.
Together these settings protect the system from unauthorized access and misuse: security you tune to your own risk, not a one-size-fits-all default.
