Born in Germany. Raised in San Francisco.
Wunder Mobility is a Hamburg company with Silicon Valley operating DNA. We've run mobility services ourselves, scaled marketplaces through hypergrowth, and shipped software from HafenCity to SoMa. That mix, German operational rigor and Valley pace, is what our platform is made of.
From our own streets to 200+ cities.
Before Wunder Mobility, our founder Gunnar Froh built Accoleo, a housing marketplace Airbnb acquired when Airbnb was thirty people. He stayed to launch Airbnb's international expansion, commuting between Europe and San Francisco for years as the company grew from 35 to 1,500 people. In 2014 he came back to Hamburg and started Wunder Mobility as a ride-sharing service: our first customers were riders on our own streets, which is why "software by operators, for operators" isn't a slogan here. It's a memory.
The service became a platform. By 2018, Wunder Mobility was the B2B operating system for vehicle-sharing operators; in 2024, we merged with Vienna's goUrban and gained a second engineering hub and a co-CEO, Bojan Jukic, who had spent years building operator software from the inside. 2025 brought our new platform generation and in 2026, Wunder AI brought conversational analytics to the platform.
Four values. No posters.
Respect
Honesty, empathy, and candor, in that order, all three, always.
Results
Impact, execution, and visible progress. We ship.
Accountability
We take responsibility for quality, not just effort or intent.
Curiosity
We stay resourceful, learn fast, and innovate through exploration.
We work with purpose, intensity, and heart. We hire, promote, and lead by these four.
Founders of the House of AI Hamburg.
We believe the next decade of mobility software is AI-native, so we didn't just say it, we built the room. In 2026, Gunnar and Bojan founded the House of AI Hamburg, opening Wunder Mobility's 1,000 m² space on the Elbe waterfront as the second House after San Francisco: twenty curated desks for AI founders, a 200-person event hall, and one community bridging HafenCity and SoMa. Wunder Mobility's own AI work, from conversational fleet analytics to ops automation, is built in that room, alongside the people pushing the field forward.
